Exposure through inhalation, skin, or eyes may cause irritation, dermatitis, dizziness, or respiratory discomfort, though it is not listed as carcinogenic. With a flash point of 35°C, boiling range of 145–205°C, specific gravity of 0.79, and insolubility in water, it is flammable and must be stored under controlled conditions.
